F&TRC, via Adviser Forum, produces Automation Ratings, providing an objective measurement of a provider’s ability to supply e-new business services using straight through processing.  Using adviser defined priorities for pre-population of electronic applications for protection, pension and investment bond products, ratings are produced identifying the extent Client Management Systems, portals and providers re-use information.

Adviser Forum conducted an independent analysis to identify how well combinations of portal/Client Management System/Aviva (Norwich Union) and Legal & General could assist advisers to streamline the submission of protection business online.  The analysis examined how much information the portal/CMS systems could pass onto each other and to the provider e-applications, resulting in minimal re-keying of data by the adviser.  The results for each combination can be found using the links below:
